FAQ 2

Q: What can the Elderly do when they have never exercised before?

A: It is never to late to start exercising as long as your Physician agrees with your decision to start. I would like to say that any one interested in starting an exercise program should consult both Physician and Personal Trainer BEFORE starting.

Q: What can I do at home to get started?

A:I have to say that Body Squats and PushUps would be the best place to start. I would also say walking out side (with a friend) or a bike ride works nice. Just remember to start out SLOW if you are a beginner so as not to get injured.

Q: There are so many Gyms and Personal Training places that I am not sure where to go.

A: I always say to pick some place and/or person you feel comfortable with. Always shop around as with anything you would purchase because you are purchasing a service from where ever you do choose. If you are not comfortable with the place or person you are working with the experience will more then likely have a negative effect on you.

Q: What is the best time to exercise?

A: Any time you can. The best time is in the morning but with toady’s fast past no time society any time you can get it in is best.

Q: I don’t have the money to get a Personal Trainer and I just joined a gym. What exercises should I do to get started?

A: I would stick with the Bench press,Squat/Leg press,Dumbell curl,Lat pull and Tricep press downs. You can talk to people and learn alittle more as you go. I would also suggest you get the book Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding. This is a must have book on Weight Training.
